GOLF ANYONE?

Law tourney a hit with old and new players.
 

One of the best things about Vancouver is the fact you can golf year round, if you don't mind a bit of rain and golfers don't mind a bit of rain.

Having said that, the 1990/1991 annual Law Student Golf Tournament was blessed with one of those incredible sunny Vancouver days.

Ah yes, out there with the borrowed woods and hand me down pings were more than a few of our

 

 


Two of the keys to a good game of golf is to: one, keep your cart well stocked with clubs, friends and other essentials and, two practice, practice, and practice perfecting your swing.


 

classmates.  Some were familiar with the finer aspects of the game, while others were just happy they could hit the ball 50% of the time.

The purpose, of course, was not to win, for golf is one of those games were you really do not compete unless you are a pro.  Instead, everyone was out for a bit of sun, fun, and relaxation.  It should be mentioned, however, Eric Shapiro did "win" the putting contest.
