"Only a few members barred from future visits to the US"
|

Some of the Team: Jim Goulden, Dave Berry, Stephen
Miller, Rob McLennan, Mike Patterson, Clark Burnett, Bill Dick, John
Fiddick, and Mike Whiteley

Above left: Coming off the field
here is "Asian Threat", Lester Wong. As you may be able to discern
from the faces on the sidelines, this game was not going well for our
heroes.
Above right: Hey, hey, hey...fresh players and the not so fresh
(phew...)wait it out on the sidelines. Notice how our jerseys
co-ordinate with a variety of short styles. Great huh? |

Once again the mud-loving Beavers embarked on
their annual journey to rugby nirvana.
After a successful series of games against their provincial rivals "The
Law Lords" from the University of Victoria, the team fell to pieces
against the onslaught of future doctors during the "Malpractice Cup" game.
With heads high the team traveled south to terrorize
Santa Barbara on the "Totally Tuber Tour". Unfortunately, things
started off badly as they forgot to take Captain Burnett along with them.
Oh well he was probably a liability rather than an asset and the tour
rolled on without him. Fortunately the team
arrived in one piece with only a few members barred from future visits to
the US. Next year...Toledo, Ohio? Ohh...doesn't
that sound like fun. Clark Burnett |
