University of British Columbia Law Class of 1991

Legal Clinic

UBC is one of the few law schools in Canada which offers students the opportunity to spend an entire term in a clinic setting for full credit.

Under the guidance of practising lawyers, students "work" to increase their knowledge of the law and how it operates.

Students opt to work in the general, criminal and mental health clinic terms in 1991.

Highlights of this year's program included the appointment of Gerald Green as director at the clinic and the move to new expanded facilities.
