Releasing Stress

A number of traditions at UBC have little purpose other than to promote class friendships an to release stress.  The Salmon Bar-B-Que is the way in which the upper year students welcome the incoming class.  It is also the a way in which we can all enjoy a free drink on the LSA if we can find our legal buddies. The Trike Race on the other hand, doesn't provide the opportunity for a free drink but, to "soak" our new found friends in water an green goo.  If one uses a little imagination the target can bear a striking resemblance to a Professor of choice.  Or, you can pay back your friend for that CAN you studied from and received a C in Secured Transactions.
