"She skates, she shoots, she oops..."
Faithful fans motivate a team made up of new players

An appropriate word to describe the women's hockey team this year is new.  New players, new emblem, new skates, new equipment, and to many a new concept.

For a team of few veterans, we have come a long way.  We can skate.  We can shoot.  We can score, especially with Gunner on the rise.

We also owe thanks to Goose Tucker for increasing our shoot-outs, Boomer for penalties, Diane as our goon and our coach, Cosgriffe whose temper reminded us both hands on the stick.

The enthusiasm of this rookie come champ outfit is extraordinary both on the ice and in the Thunder bar.

In honour of our departing captain Margueritte La Caisse and coach Brian Rev, we look forward to a victorious year in 1991-92 as veterans as the rest of the team remains to fight again.

Thanks especially to our faithful fans, Beth, Bill, Kevin and Dan.
